Veggie Iron Skillet Carbon

Oh my god! To die for! Hands down the BEST veggie platter we ever had. Fresh, delicious variety of veggies, fresh made chips, salsa. - everything tasted amazing. We moved to Hawai'i, but we never forgot about this restaurant. (Stumbled upon it when attending a public health conference in Mission Bay.) Visiting friends in San Diego this year, and will be taking them FatFish Cantina for sure! Mahalo nui loa and see you soon!

Tequila Lobster Bisque

Cortez Seafood Bowl

The Cortez Seafood bowl is just like a day at the beach: sizzling, with a variety of seafood flavors to satisfy from shrimp and sumptuously delicate flaky hunks of salmon, fresh and balanced coastal rice and flavor bomb veggies, with touches like pomegranate and herb greens that are satisfying and not heavy. The variety of seafood is excellent in preparation, from sizzling shrimp and succulent lobster, to the perfect salmon and local catch of the day in hunks done to exact perfection give any seafood lover a variety that is sizzling fresh, not fishy in the least with well balanced flavors that compliment, not cover each other. The veggies rotate but the current winter squash and mushrooms are fresh flavor bombs that are almost as good as meat, which is the sign of the care that went into crafting this dish. The coastal rice is seasoned with a light citrus along with a mango habanero drizzle that is found throughout the dish and the bowl together. The traditional pomegranate seeds and radish add a nice sweet and bright note to balance with the slight bitter of the herb. Everything in the dish plays off one another, making the dish well thought out and perfectly executed. Eat this: if you want to undo the damage of the queso and chips and dangerously spicy margaritas; or if you like fresh seafood and a satisfying, deliciously executed dish; especially after a big beach workout. All the flavor, but no guilt detected.

A perfect pairing of fish and shrimp on one plate. The habanero sauce poured over the top, making this burrito "wet", totally adds to the dish.

Veggie Iron Skillet Carbon

Best vegan dish! Such a surprise to find authentic flavors that are mouth watering amazing! Caramelized onions, roasted cauliflower, asparagus, zucchini and more! The tortillas were homemade yum and the rice and beans delicious! You know you want it! I'll be coming back every time I'm in PB! Thx!!

I love fat fish. I really love the sizzling iron skillet tacos al carbon. I ate 7 going on 8. I can't wait to eat again. I love watching this girl eat her tacos while I eat my own tacos. I can't substitute the taster it makes me feel like a real man !!!....
